Octavia Gavion Tharpe was born on January 25, 1942, in Houston, Texas and passed away on May 4, 2017. She was 75 years old and resided in Rialto, California at the time of her passing. Octavia met Anthony Tharpe in Houston, Texas and married on February 29, 1968. She is survived by her husband Anthony and sister Romie. Her father Andre, mother Hazel, step mother Juana, brother Alexander and sister Joyce preceded her in death. Octavia was a cherished Daughter, Wife, Sister, Mother, Aunt, Cousin, Grand Mother and Friend to all who knew her. We will always hold our memories of her near and dear to our hearts. She will be deeply missed.
