O. Richard "Dick" Gablosky, age 84 of Freemont, former longtime resident of East Hampstead, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 30, 2015 at his home, with his family at his side.

Dick was born on October 10, 1930 in Westville, NH the son of the late Arthur J. and Blanche (Lavoie) Gablosky. He was raised in Westville and educated at the Pollard School, the Tilton School and he graduated from the Haverhill Trade School, Class of 1949.

He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was honorably discharged.

Dick worked as a management coordinator for AT&T in No. Andover, MA. He retired in 1986 with 31 years of service.

Dick was a "perpetual putterer" and a practical joker. He loved to work in his yard and enjoyed the sunshine. He liked nothing better than sitting down at the table for a good meal surrounded by his family.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Regina A. (Berry) Gablosky of Freemont, NH. His daughter, Frances B. McAneney of Concord, NH. His sons; James R. Gablosky of Bradford, MA and Patrick J. "P.J." Gablosky and his wife, Irene of Freemont, NH. His brother, Robert J. Gablosky and his wife, Patricia of Haverhill, MA. His grandchildren; Kevin McAneney, Timothy Gablosky and Stephanie Gablosky. Two great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews also survive him. Dick was pre-deceased by his grandson, Shawn McAneney.

Family and friends are invited to attend Dick's Life Celebration on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 from 5 – 8 PM at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main Street (Rt. 121A), Plaistow, NH 03865. His funeral will begin on Thursday at 9:30 AM from the funeral home, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM in St. Joseph's Parish, 200 Pleasant Street, Epping, NH 03042. Burial will take place in Holy Angel's Cemetery in Plaistow, NH at a later date, at the convenience of the family. U.S. Army Military Honors will be rendered following the Funeral Mass.

In-lieu of flowers, memorial donations for Mr. Gablosky are requested to either of the following organizations:
