Norman Raymond Wiles

Norman Raymond Wiles, 62, born on September 16, 1953, in Pasadena, California, passed away May 6, 2016. He resided in San Dimas, California at the time of his passing. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Covina, California.

Norm Wiles was a proud and ever-present husband, father and friend. He was firefighter, athlete, coach, baseball-lover, and a traveler, but most of all, he was a fighter.

Norm was diagnosed with Stage 4 Prostate Cancer In December of 2004. Throughout his long, difficult 11 year battle with cancer he fought with unwavering bravery and optimism, while never losing his irrepressible sense of humor.

Throughout the years, he collected friends from all walks of life. He spread joy and positivity everywhere he went, no matter how he felt physically. He made an impact on everyone he came in contact with in a very special and moving way. Not many people make the world a better place simply by being themselves, but Norm did.

Sadly, on May 6th, 2016 Norm passed on as his wife Wendy, Daughter Lacey, and Son Matthew surrounded him with love. He will forever be in our hearts.
