William Raymond Woodall

William Raymond Woodall, born on September 26, 1932, in Oklahoma, passed away peacefully in California on July 19, 2026, at the age of 93. His long and well-lived life left an indelible mark on all who knew him.

Bill’s journey began in Oklahoma, where he was born into a changing world. Over the course of nearly a century, he witnessed and quietly contributed to a great many significant moments in history. Those who had the privilege of knowing Bill remember him for his steadfastness, gentle spirit, and unwavering commitment to both family and community.

Bill is survived by his wife, Lois, who carries forward her husband’s memory and legacy. Their bond was one of deep connection, built on 61 years of marriage. He is also survived by his sisters Thelma Stanley, Carolyn Doyle, nephew Norm Stanley, nieces Cheryl Pitt, Alison Gaignard, and Lori Beckwith, many great and great great nephews and nieces. He is preceded in death by his father and mother Ernest and Gladys Woodall, and brother Donald Woodall

Though details of Bill’s broader family relationships, career, and achievements are private, his presence in the lives of those around him was strong and constant. He will be remembered with respect and affection by all who were fortunate enough to share in his journey.

A graveside service to honor and celebrate William Raymond Woodall’s life will be held on August 26, 2026, from 12:30 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn – Hollywood Hills (FD 904), located at 6300 Forest Lawn Drive, Los Angeles, California. A memorial service immediately after the graveside will be held at El Segundo United Methodist Church, 540 Main St. El Segundo, CA 90245. All who knew Bill and wish to pay their respects are welcome to attend.

Bill’s memory endures in the hearts of those who loved him. May he rest in peace.
