January 1, 1946 — April 22, 2015

Norman Melik Parsadanian, 69, born on January 1, 1946 in Tehran, Iran, passed away April 22, 2015. He was a devoted son, loving brother, beloved uncle and dear friend. We will miss him terribly. He resided in Glendale, California, at the time of his passing. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills, Los Angeles, California.

Norman was a kind, gentle soul whose greatest joy was to bless others and celebrate life. He did this by giving, sharing and sacrificing for the benefit of others. His charming personality attracted and drew people towards his light of life. A lover of music and the cinema, Norman virtually knew every actor's name and enjoyed all musical genres. His great skill in electronics guided him through the U.S. Air Force Communication Command. He had the ability to dissect and refurbish many components pertaining to the U.S. Armed Forces. Among many of his electronic works, Norman served over twenty years with the U.S. Department of Defense. Such expertise were projected in the capacity of monitoring and exploring special equipment on St. Nicholas Island. Serving his country stems from days of R.O.T.C. at Belmont High School. The sacrifice and dedication that was personified by his mother, Katherine helped to instill a work ethic and conscience so true it stayed with him throughout his life. He retired early from the career he loved to help care for his mother for ten years, being totally dependent on him until her passing. Norman always had a cheery disposition and displayed the essence of goodness – even in difficult times. He was a great mentor to his brother, Eddie and loved his family – especially his two nieces. This love reached to all his friends from elementary school up to present. Many of which were able to share their farewells when he was in his last moments on earth. We know that Norman would want all of us to love, share, enjoy the good times and make each moment memorable.
