Methuen, MA: Norma D. (Wyckoff) Williams, 87, of Methuen died on August 30, 2015 at Halcyon House in Methuen.

Born in Luray, Kansas and raised in Osborne, Kansas, daughter of the late Ralph D. and Myrtie (Phillips) Wyckoff, Mrs. Williams received her Associates Degree from Kansas State University. As a young woman, she worked as a Medical Technician before becoming a housewife and homemaker for her late husband and three daughters.

Mrs. Williams was an active member of the Atkinson Congregational Church, where she was a member of the Hand Bell Choir and the Chancel Choir. She also served as a past Deacon. An avid reader, Mrs. Williams enjoyed gardening and exploring historical places and landmarks.

She was predeceased by her husband, Richard C. Williams, and is survived by three daughters, Dr. Anne M. Williams, M.D. of Glasgow, Montana, Carla W. Sledge of Boulder, Colorado, and Dina S. Williams of Methuen, a brother, Dr. Donald Wyckoff Ph.D of Norman, Oklahoma, two sisters, Genevieve Lounsbury of Susanville, California, and Shirley Bodmer of Tucson, Arizona, and two granddaughters, Hannah Sledge and Katie Sledge.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Mrs. Williams's Life Celebration on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 from 5 to 6 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main Street, Plaistow, NH. Her funeral service will follow on Tuesday at 6:15 p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Atkinson Congregational Church, 101 Main Street, Atkinson, NH 03811.
