Nora Katherine Giles

Nora Katherine Giles (Byrne), 80, born on April 19, 1935 in Buffalo, New York, passed away on July 9, 2015 in the loving care of the staff at Liberty Home in Huntington Beach, California. Nora was a loving wife, mother, ma (mother-in-law), and friend.

Nora is preceded in death by husband Albert Giles, Susie, Prinny (beloved family pet), and siblings: Jack, Jim, Edna, and Marie. Nora is survived by daughter Sharyl, son-in-law Michael, five Grand-Fur Babies (cats), and extended family.

Nora was a sweet, loving, caring person who always thought of others before herself; she never had a selfish bone in her body. Nora passed away peacefully and did not suffer greatly from her illness.

Nora could always be found reading a mystery, watching movies or enjoying a TV show. Thanks to her favorite TV show Big Bang Theory, she was always singing "Soft Kitty", especially with her favorite nephew Michael and sister-in-law Dorothy.

Nora, and her sense of humor, will be missed greatly by all who loved and knew her.
