With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Noemí Ramos Ortega, who departed this world on February 27, 2025. Born on February 8, 1969, in Mexico City, Noemí spent much of her life in East Los Angeles and later in Huntington Park, California, where she will be remembered for her unconditional love, radiant smile, contagious laughter, and deep Catholic faith. She was a devoted mother, a loving wife, a caring sister, and a beloved daughter. Her legacy of kindness and generosity will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Hi, Mom. We know that you may not be able to see this, but we still find ourselves waiting to see you walk through the door. However, we now know that you have already entered the house and the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. We miss you with every cell of our being, and although our selfishness was so great in wanting you to stay by our side, we know that you are now in paradise.
You taught us what true love means, to have unconditional faith, to keep fighting with determination, and to enjoy life even when obstacles arise.
Thank you for always having faith in others, even when they didn’t believe in themselves. We prayed so much to God for you to recover and to save you from suffering, and He did—by bringing you to Heaven. Though it pains us deeply to let you go, we know that God called you to live a new life filled with peace. We will continue searching for you for the rest of our lives, in Heaven and in everything that reminds us of you. Watch over us from wherever you are, because we will always carry you in our hearts.
We love you forever.

Hola, Mami.
