John 14:1–3
“Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.”
Poem For Nikko
You came into our lives
and filled our hearts with love.
For twenty two precious years,
you were a gift from God above.
You had so much left to learn,
so much left to do,
so many dreams ahead of you,
and so many lives you touched too.
You gave your love so quietly,
You always helped people,
and you never needed recognition for it.
Your kindness and your gentle heart
are things we’ll always know.
We’ll remember you at the piano,
with your drawings by your side,
your brilliant mind, your quiet smile,
and the love you never had to hide.
We’ll remember you as a son,
a brother, and a friend.
And though our hearts are broken now,
our love for you will never end.
We may not understand today
why God called you home so soon,
but we trust you’re in His loving hands,
safe beneath His eternal care.
Until the day we meet again,
we’ll carry you in our hearts.
For losing you may change our lives,
but it will never tear our love apart.
We love you, Nikko.
We will miss you forever.
