Nicole Nadia Wilson

Nicole (Nicky) Nadia Wilson, age 40, passed away January 20, 2026, after a courageous and unwavering battle with cancer.

Born on October 7, 1985, in Upland, California, Nicky was known for her incredibly tenacious spirit - something she embraced with pride. She was relentless in her love, steadfast in her convictions, and never one to give up. As the oldest sibling, Nicky took her role seriously. She loved her brothers and sisters fiercely, often through tough love, always with the intention of protecting them and helping them grow into the amazing adults she knew they could be.

Nicky was deeply devoted to her husband, Kevin, and cherished her family beyond measure. She greatly admired her parents, Maricela and Daniel Benjamin, and often spoke of their work ethic and integrity as models for how she lived her own life. Much of her strong exterior was rooted in her desire to make herself and the people she loved better, always.

Though she moved several times throughout her life, Nicky had a remarkable ability to form deep, lasting friendships wherever she landed. She attracted people from all walks of life and loved them wholeheartedly. Her friendships were a source of immense pride, and that love was always reciprocated.

A devoted lover of music, especially classic rock and country, Nicky found joy and meaning in live concerts, carefully curated and shared playlists, and pouring over the meaning behind song lyrics. She shared a love of all things trivia with her dad, especially Jeopardy! and crossword puzzle books, which Kevin faithfully kept well stocked. Her phone screensaver proudly featured a “word of the day,” a habit she carried into her workplace as well.

Her faith was a steady foundation throughout her life, guiding how she loved, endured, and showed up for others. Nicky spoke openly about what she hoped people would remember: her perseverance, her loyalty, her protective love for her siblings, and the deep pride she felt in the community of friends she built over a lifetime. Throughout her battle, she demonstrated remarkable peace, continuing to offer love and faith to those who surrounded her.

Nicky leaves behind a legacy of belonging, resilience, and cherishing each moment.

She is survived by her husband, Kevin; her parents, Maricela and Daniel Benjamin and her siblings; Joanna Benjamin-Gleeson (John), Candice Benjamin, Charles Benjamin and Dulce Valentin-O'Connor. She is also survived by her in-laws, Judy and Jerry Wilson, sibling in-laws Shannon Wilson Perrott and Brian Wilson (Bridget), nieces Brooke, Peyton, and Romy and nephews Brogan and Bernard, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved her. She was preceded in death by her brother, Adam Benjamin.

A memorial service honoring her life will be held on February 14, 2026, at Forest Lawn, Covina Hills, California with a reception to follow at the Double Tree by Hilton, 3101 W Temple Ave. Pomona, CA 91768.
