Haverhill: Nicholas P. "Nyk" Yacovitch, 40, of the Ward Hill section of Haverhill, died at Lawrence General Hospital, on March 2, 2015, after being stricken at his home.

A resident of Haverhill for the past ten years and a former resident of Plaistow, Nyk was born in Lawton, Oklahoma, son of Paul Yacovitch and Stella (Kirlis) (Yacovitch) Bellerose, and graduated from High School in Ft. Meyers, Florida.

Employed for the past seven years as a sample coordinator at The Charles River Labs, he had also previously worked at local Staples stores.

He was a member of Sacred Hearts Parish of Bradford, and enjoyed cooking for his family, watching movies, swimming, and fishing. He most enjoyed time that he spent with his family especially the recent trip that they made to Germany and Medjugorje.

He is survived by his wife of eleven years, Anne M. (Malinowski) Yacovitch, a son Gavin P. Yacovitch, his mother and step-father Stella (Kirlis) and Bob Bellerose of Plaistow, his father and step-mother, Paul and Joyce Yacovitch of Ft. Meyers, Florida, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Relatives and friends may call on Thursday, March 5, 2015 from 4 to 7:15 P.M. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St, Plaistow, NH.
