Necirata Lorica Bautista

Necirata Lorica Bautista, 79, passed away peacefully on Tuesday July 23, 2024, at Whittier Medical Hospital. She was born on December 27, 1944, in Bautista Pangasinan Philippines to Esteban Lorica and Mercedes Lorica.  She is the 6th eldest of 10 children.

Necy, was a grade schoolteacher for almost 3 decades in the town she was born in. As a Master Teacher in Education, she made sure that all her students excel academically. She shared her passion for music and taught her students to play piano, ukelele and guitar. A conscientious teacher, who always wanted the best, not only to her kids, but also to her students. She was as great as a mother and a supportive, loving spouse. Unselfish, as weak as she was on her last days, she was there to care for her husband. A devoted catholic with a strong faith value. She was generous, thought of others before herself. A giver to her immediate family, siblings, nieces, nephews and close friends. 

She moved to Chicago, Illinois in 1997 to join her son. She worked as a florist, baker and clerk. She settled in Southern California to join her daughter in 2001. She was a clerk until retirement.

She is survived by her two children, Arcadeo Bautista (Charina Isaac Bautista), Blesilda Bautista Rosario (Ogie Rosario), her grandchildren Nicole Bautista, Allen Rosario, Dale Bautista, Kailee Bautista and Karylle Bautista, her great grandchildren Leonardo Clark Bautista and Lorenzo Clark Bautista and her sisters Mina Tumaneng, Adelina Almerol, Perlita Agito and brother Fred Lorica.

A viewing service for Necy will be held on Friday, August 09, 2024, from 12pm to 8:00pm at Forest Lawn Cypress
