Loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother entered eternal life on October 28, 2013 at 2:38 am. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Esteban Ortega who's home going was in 1998. She is survived by her daughter, Margarita Ortega-Torres, son, David Ortega and her six adult grandchildren, Arlene Torres-Partida, David Ortega Jr., Cecilia Ortega-Hernandez, Vanessa Ortega, Lorraina Ortega and Steven Ortega. She was also blessed with three great-grandchildren, Omar Hernandez and Anthony and Atianna Recinos.
She resided in Harbor City, California at the time of her passing where she had lived for the past 40 years. She is originally from Ciudad Juarez and lived her younger years in Socorro, Texas. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Long Beach, California.
