Natividad De Leon Jr, 87, was born on December 21, 1937, in Los Ramones, Nuevo León, Mexico, passed away May 13, 2025 surrounded by his family. Natividad arrived in Harlingen, Texas in the early ‘50s with his family. He moved to the Coachella Valley in the early 1960s where he met and married the love of his life, Reginalda Acosta De Leon. Together they had two daughters. Quite the entrepreneur, and never one to pass up an opportunity, He established multiple businesses around the valley including gas stations, a mechanic shop, rental properties, a trucking business, and agriculture. He was part of the thermal farming coalition, was involved in establishing the Charro association of Coachella, and worked for Kaiser Steel Mine in Desert Center where he worked until its closure in 1982. A longtime resident of Thermal, California, he passed at his beloved ranch where 4 generations of DeLeon’s call home.

Known to his friends as “Peewee,” his love for his family was anything but small. Truly a dedicated provider where no work was too hard to support his family.

Natividad is preceded in death by his wife Reginalda Acosta De Leon, mother Lorenza Garcia De Leon, father Natividad De Leon Sr; his brothers Abel De Leon, Jose De Leon, and Ray De Leon. He is survived by his Daughters- Diana N. De Leon of (Indio Ca.) and Norma L. De Leon of (Riverside Ca.) grandchildren- Stephanie, Kathleen, Jaime Jr, Natalia, Angela, and Angel, great grandchildren- Lia and Eli, sisters Elida Gomez (Harlingen, Tx) and Evangelina Castillo (Fontana, Ca) and numerous additional family.

He was deeply loved by his family and those who knew him will absolutely be missed.
