Natalio Nava, 68, passed away on Monday, January 20, at Queen of the Valley Hospital surrounded by loved ones.

He is survived by his spouse Irma Nava, his two daughters Cynthia and Cylvia Nava and their spouses, and 13 Grandchildren. Brothers, Sisters, nephews and nieces. He is predeceased by his brother Sotero Nava and his parents Guadalupe and Antonio Nava.

Natalio was born to Guadalupe and Antonio Nava on July 27, 1951 in Tepetongo, Zacatecas where he spent part of his childhood before moving to Mexico City. He traveled to many places in Mexico in his early adulthood. He came to live in the U.S in his mid 20's and lived in San Jose and El Monte California.

He was married to Irma Nava on May 16,1981 in Mexico. They had two daughters. He was a devoted Father and Grandfather always playing and making his grandkids laugh. He was known by several nicknames Amigo, Corazon, Tallo, Nat, Cañas and Catemillo, given by grandkids, family and friends. He enjoyed camping with family and friends and going to Santa Anita race track. He loved music and dancing, swimming, diving, and playing soccer. He enjoyed watching all sports and was a life long San Francisco 49ers, San Fransisco Giants and Puma UNAM fan. He spent the last couple of years traveling several times a year between Texas and California to be with both daughters and grandchildren.

He lived life to the fullest. He enjoyed chatting with family and friends, neighbors and all. He knew no stranger, always cracking a joke to make you smile, and lending a hand to whoever needed it. He will be deeply missed by family and friends and all who knew him.

A memorial service will be held at Forest Lawn on Monday February 3, at 2:00 pm. All are welcome to a gathering at his residence after the service at 1211 S. Willow Ave. West Covina 91790. Food and refreshments provided.
