Naomi Ries, 94, was born on March 30, 1919 in Brawley, California, and passed away peacefully on March 26, 2014 in Los Angeles, California. She resided in Los Angeles, California, at the time of her passing. Naomi loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchild, all of which brought her great joy. She was a very spiritual woman who loved to sing hymns and snappy favorites, such as "Little Grass Shack." She was an avid Scrabble player and loved people watching at Redondo Beach. She had an incurable sweet tooth and loved chocolate. She is survived by her sister, Linda, her daughters, Carol, Kathleen and Nancy and by her grandchildren, John, Heather and Sean, as well as her great-grandson, John Michael. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills, Los Angeles, California.
