Naomi Brown was born September 28, 1949 in Helena, Arkansas and passed away July 17, 2024. She resided in Buena Park, CA at the time of her passing. 

Naomi grew up in Arkansas and moved to New York after high school. She attended New York Community College and received an Associate degree in 1970. She went on to attend Hunter College in New York where she received her Bachelors degree in Business in 1972. 

Naomi married her high school sweetheart, Larence Brown; they had one son, Jeffrey. The family chose to move to California to begin their life together in 1974. Naomi worked several jobs before starting her career with The County of Orange in 1987 and retired in 2017 after 35 years of service.

Naomi devoted herself to Christ and faithfully attended Graceland Community Church. She was a true Disciple of God and loved teaching His word. Naomi's favorite bible verse is Philippians 4:13 "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."

Naomi loved her family, her extended family and all of her friends. She enjoyed taking cruises, traveling to new places and especially staying local to visit all her favorite casinos. Some of Naomi's favorite trips were to Greece, the Bahamas and Alaska. Her most recent trip was a Meditteranean cruise to Spain, France and Italy with her daughter in law and granddaughters. Naomi loved being surrounded by family. She loved to celebrate all family by attending every birthday, graduation and wedding. Naomi shared her life experiences so that we could better our lives.  

Naomi is survived by husband Larence, son Jeffrey, daughter in law Vivian, granddaughters Jessica and Jozlyn, their spouses and great grandchildren Samuel, Amiyah, Malachi, Austin and Ava. Naomi is also survived by two sisters Martha , of New York and Bernice of Alabama; as well as several nieces, nephews and friends. Naomi is predeceased by her father Henry, mother Doshia, brother Peter, sisters Esther, Emma and Etta.

Memorial service will be on Tuesday August 6, 2024 at 11:30 AM at Forest Lawn 4471 Lincoln Ave. Cypress, CA 90630. If you cannot attend personally, you can watch via live stream at http://streaming.forestlawn.com/d5d4b8c0

Celebration of Life ceremony following from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Los Coyotes County Club 8888 Los Coyotes Dr. Buena Park, CA 90621; food and drink will be provided.
