Hampstead, NH: Nancy E. (Cary) Zannini, 70, a resident of Hampstead for twenty-three years, died unexpectedly on April 22, 2014 at Lowell General Hospital, Lowell, MA.

Born in East Hartford, CT, daughter of the late John and Florence (Perry) Cary, she graduated from New Hartford High School and went on to attend Massachusetts General School of Nursing. Nancy worked as a registered nurse at McLean Hospital, Merrimack Valley Home Health VNA, where she specialized in psych and addiction nursing, Choate Hospital in Woburn, MA, Bayside Rehabilitation in Billerica, MA, and Heathwood Nursing Home in Newton, MA.

Nancy enjoyed playing sudoko, puzzles, watching movies, especially comedies, attending auctions, and playing cards. A former member of several local choirs, she also enjoyed musical theatre. Above all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and especially enjoyed her family's annual reunion, "Perryfest".

Nancy was predeceased by her husband, John G. Zannini, and is survived by her son, Jonathan M. Zannini and his fiancé Jessica Cutillo of Winthrop, MA, two daughters and sons-in-law, Amy E. and Jason Collette of Hampstead, and Carina J. and Andrew Sherman of Derry, NH, a brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Susan Cary of New Hartford, CT, a sister, Susan R. Cary of Hubbardton, VT, a brother-in-law, Anthony "Tony" Zannini and his wife Janet of Derry, NH, three grandsons, David J. MacQuesten, Giovanni G. Zannini, and Vincenzo V. Zannini, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Relatives and friends may call on Friday, April 25, 2014 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Brookside Chapel and Funeral Home, 116 Main Street, Route 121A, Plaistow, NH. Her funeral will be held on Saturday, April 26 at 9 a.m. from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at All Saints Church, 120 Bellevue Avenue, Haverhill, MA. Burial will follow in West Hampstead Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Nancy's name may be made to the ALS Association NNE Chapter, 10 Ferry Street, Suite 309, Concord, NH 03301.
