Nancy Nga Wang

Nancy Nga Wang passed away unexpectedly but peacefully on June 25, 2021 at the age of 66 in Rancho Mirage, CA. Nancy is survived by her husband, Jen Wang; her children, Jennifer Wang and Brian Wang; her grandson, Max Mosher; her siblings, Trung Nguyen, Thu Dang, Huong Lam, Thanh Nguyen, and Tam Nguyen; and many cousins, nephews, and nieces. She is predeceased by her parents, Thinh Nguyen and My Tran; and her brother, Tuan Nguyen. Nancy was born and raised in Vietnam. After moving to New Jersey in 1975, she met and then married her husband of over 43 years on September 24, 1977. Together, they had two children and lived and worked for many years in Raleigh, North Carolina before retiring and moving to California. Nancy was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She enjoyed taking daily walks, reading, gardening, baking, and sewing; and she would surprise people with her hula hooping skills which she had picked up through some of her many exercise classes. She also often looked forward to beautiful sunsets, relaxing at the beach or pool, and upcoming travel plans. Her sweet smile, genuine kindness, and gentle nature will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her. A funeral service is scheduled on Thursday, July 1 at 1:00pm at Forest Lawn's Ramon Chapel in Cathedral City, California. Flowers and donations may be offered on the day of the service at 69855 E. Ramon Road, Cathedral City, CA 92234.
