Nancy Gail Goff Lukas

Nancy Gail Lukas, 73, born on July 21, 1949, in County of Los Angeles, CA, United States, passed away January 13, 2023. She lived in Belmont Heights, Long Beach, CA from 1998 until 2020, when she moved in with her daughter in Rancho Santa Margarita, CA. Nancy worked for United Employees Law Group for over 20 years. She is survived by her children Jennifer Goff Dominik (son-in-law Michael Dominik) and Jonathan Goff (daughter-in-common-law Janna Ouellet); adopted son Joseph Aquino; grandchildren Mitchell and Jillian Dominik, Piper and James Goff, and Sophia Ware; brothers Thomas and Steven Peck; sister Teresa Peck Jones; nieces Kristal Peck Atkinson, Stephani Peck Elliott, Cara Jones, Tiffany Jones Cruz, Cassandra Peck, and Laurie Schaible Chico; and nephew Michael Schaible. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents Jenne Ganahl Peck DiPiazza and Eugene Gale Peck; her husband and the father of her children, James Nelson Goff; her second husband, Randy Lukas; and her beloved son, Joel Goff. Nancy also leaves behind many other wonderful family, friends, and co-workers and will be greatly missed by all.

Nancy was known for her love of all animals. She cared for wild orphaned animals such as birds and opossums, and always had many pets, including cats, dogs, birds, tortoises, rats, and even a tarantula. Nancy donated regularly to the Opossum Society, so please donate in her honor if you are inclined.

Services for Nancy Goff Lukas will be held at Forest Lawn in Cypress, California on February 8, 2023 at 11:30 am in the Patriot Chapel. A graveside service will follow, along with a reception at the house of her best friend, Luz (Lucy) O'Connell.
