Nancy Ellowene Copsey

Nancy Ellowene Copsey, 59, born on June 8, 1957, in Wichita, Kansas, passed away November 6, 2016. She resided in Granada Hills, California at the time of her passing. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Glendale, California.

Nancy was the only child of Kent and Melissa and was born in Wichita, KS on June 8th, 1957. Nancy grew up in California, spending her youth riding horses and gallivanting in the great outdoors with her parents. She was a lifetime learner which lead her to receive her Bachelor Degree at the University of La Verne. She married Steven Copsey on February 12th, 1983. Which lead to the birth of their twin girls, Bonnie and Megan, a few years later. She then spent her life as a philanthropist, dedicating her life to others. Those who knew her, knew that she was feisty, strong, kind, supportive, generous and had a thirst for adventure. She was a patron of the arts, a world traveler, an equestrian, and a naturalist. Most of all she was a beloved mom, wife, and daughter.
