Nahum E. Aguilar Smith

Nahum E. Aguilar Smith, 82, born on December 17, 1942, in San Pedro Sula, Honduras, passed away September 19, 2025. He resided in Diamond Bar, CA at the time of his passing. Arrangements are under the care of Forest Lawn, Covina Hills, CA.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 30, 2025 12:00 p.m - 8:00 p.m in the Willow Room.  Funeral Service held Wednesday, October 1, 2025 - 12:00 p.m at the Church of our Heritage.  We are grieved, but also relieved that my Father will no longer be suffering from the illness that engulfed him.  My father had a profound influence on us all.  He lived a diligent and sincere life with strong virtues that have left an indelible mark on me and my brother.  My Father represented strength, wisdom, and guidance with an enduring love for his family.  His committment and loyalty for his family never faltered through life's ups and downs.  As a Veteran Soldier his sense of devotion, perseverance, and willingness to follow through with obligations and responsibilities was his biggest pride.  My Father's body will rest in peace and fade, but his wisdom and love for us will never die.  We will never forget the day he died in our arms as he held to my brother and I tightly as God took him away.  At last he was at peace.  Now my Father will dance with God and with all those who have passed on before him in glory.  We love you, Father.
