Obituary:
Muriel Anne Weast, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend passed away on May 26, 2024, in Murrieta, California. She was born on May 4, 1937, in Toronto, Canada. Muriel's life was marked by warmth, love, and an unwavering devotion to her family.
Muriel's career spanned various roles at Montgomery Wards, Broadway, and as a valuable asset to a local State Farm Agent. However, it was her family that truly meant the most to her. Muriel reveled in the cherished memories of holidays spent meticulously wrapping gifts with love and pride. She found joy in cooking and bringing her family together for meals even as the children grew older.
Described as bubbly and full of life, Muriel had a knack for bringing out joy in others. Her hobbies included sewing clothing for her children, grandchildren, and even creating her daughter-in-law's wedding dress. She also found solace in swimming year-round and enjoying the serenity of the pool.
Muriel's proudest accomplishments were undoubtedly her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her husband Allen; devoted sons Daniel and Lee; daughters-in-law Helen and Rebecca; son-in-law Art; grandchildren Adam, Marcus, Charleen, Alysia, nine great-grandchildren, sister Ruth, and brother Melvin. Muriel is preceded in death by her parents Alvin and Lillian Creighton, Sister Linda, and her daughter Cheryl.
