Monica Christine St. Jean, a beloved soul who graced this world with her warmth and kindness, unexpectedly left us at the age of 58 on February 27,2024. Monica now joins her mother Christina McCormick, father Timothy McCormick in heaven. Their reunion must be filled with joy and laughter, just as Monica would have wanted. She leaves behind her devoted son, Alyxzander, who will forever carry her spirit within him. Their bond was unbreakable—a tapestry of shared memories, whispered secrets, and unwavering love. Monica is also survived by her sister Katrina Nutt, and two brothers Sean McCormick and Edward McCormick, brother-in-law Kent Nutt and sister-in-law Belia McCormick. Her nieces, nephews, and countless great-nieces and great-nephews also mourn her passing.
Her departure has left an indelible mark on our hearts. Monica was kind-hearted and compassionate, she touched countless lives. She had an uncanny ability to sense when someone needed comfort or a listening ear. Her empathy knew no bounds, and she made everyone feel seen and heard.
Monica’s creativity flowed like a gentle stream. She was an artist at heart, weaving magic with her hands. Her love for crafting jewelry was evident in every delicate bead and intricate design. Her free time was filled with adventures. She scoured garage sales, swap meets, and bead stores, seeking hidden gems. Her eyes sparkled as she discovered vintage trinkets, colorful beads, and forgotten treasures. Each find was a testament to her love for life’s little joys.
She was always fashionably late and unapologetically joyful; Monica was never on time – her watch seemed to run on its own whimsical schedule. But oh, how we cherished those moments of anticipation, waiting for her infectious laughter to fill the room. Monica’s smile was like a sunbeam breaking through the clouds. It illuminated every room she entered, and her laughter will echo in our memories with each loving memory. Whether it was a witty remark or a heartfelt joke, she had a way of brightening even the gloomiest days.
In her final act of generosity, Monica gave others a chance at life through organ donation. We honor her selflessness and carry her spirit forward. While Monica led a life filled with both joy and challenges, we choose to remember her for the light she brought into our lives.
