Monica Barrera, 95, born on May 04, 1929, in Masinloc Zambales, Philippines, passed away March 20, 2025. She was the fourth of children born to Silvestre Sison and Feliciana Galzote Sison. She moved to the United States in 1980. She resided in Garden Grove, CA at the time of her passing. She was a loving wife to her late husband, Paulino Barrera, and a caring mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by her eight children: Cristy Eduad, Menda Caniya, Mising Episioco, Lumen Barrera, Dean Barrera, Nieves Simon, Helen Yandoc, Palmo Barrera, her 19 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. Arrangements are under the care of Forest Lawn, Cypress, CA.
