Loving Memory of Mohsen Movahedi
Born on October 28, 1936, in Mashhad, Iran, Mohsen Movahedi passed away peacefully at the age of 89 on April 22, 2026, in Woodland Hills.
He was a devoted husband to Mahin Mirtahami for 63 wonderful years. Together, they built a loving family and were blessed with four children: Mohammed, Mahnaz, Roya, and Lida. He was also a proud grandfather to six grandchildren: Parisa, Amir, Sara, Sean, Hannah, and Leo.
Mohsen dedicated 17 years of his career to banking and later served for 10 years as a library worker. He was raised in Tehran, Iran, before immigrating to the United States in August 1977 in search of new opportunities for his family.
Above all, Mohsen was a devoted family man—honest, self-reliant, and deeply compassionate. His strength, integrity, and love will remain with all who knew him.
We love you, Baba Joon. May you rest in God’s eternal light.
