Mohammad Ali Motaghy

Mohammad Ali Motaghy, 90, born on August 28, 1925 in Iran, passed away 3:00PM on December 13, 2015. He resided in Sun Valley, California, at the time of his passing. He was a loving brother, husband, father of 4 children and grandfather to 5 grandchildren. A poet, artist and a compassionate heart.

Baba joon, as we called our father, is Free!
3:00am, opened my eyes,
found myself laying next to the fireplace,
As I gazed at the clear sky, there he was, lounging
on the tale of a most brilliant star.
Dangling his feet in the air, happy go lucky,
not a thing on his mind.
Free as the gentle breeze.
High above in heavens.
Light showering his body from the side.
Sitting upright, his face beautifully radiated.
Smiling blissfully, I knew, Baba joon is Free. :)
