Mimin Firmansyah

Mimin Firmansyah, 95, born on December 10, 1930, in Java, Indonesia, passed away December 19, 2025. She resided in Chino, CA at the time of her passing. Funeral services will take place on January 10, 2026, at Church of our Heritage, Forest Lawn Covina Hills in Covina, California. The service will begin at 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM.

Raised in Banjar, West Java, she was the eldest of eight siblings and currently only one of her younger brothers is still alive. She married Hartono Harapan in 1950 and had eight children. Throughout her life, she lived in several places: West Java, Central Java, Lampung, Jakarta, and California, USA.

From 1987 to 2010, she was a member of a California church community that later became the Bethel Indonesian House of Faith Church; she later joined the International Living Stone Church.

She was a mother whose main concern was the future of her children. Her prayers, efforts and advice continued until the end of her life. Although her memory and speaking ability were outstanding, her condition had deteriorated in the last three years and required assistance. However, she was always grateful, giving thanks in any circumstance and remaining cheerful. Her love, faith and strength of heart became a beacon and a source of strength for her loving family.

Mimin Firmansyah survived by her children and spouses: Fenti & Eugene Mandelcorn, Fonda Harapan & Widjaja Sjiarif, Djuhaeri & Uschi Harapan, Patricia & Alex Halim, Mariana & Alex Sumampouw and many other loving family members. She is preceded in death by her husband: Hartono Harapan and her children: Andi S Harapan, Paulus B Harapan and Yani Harapan.
