Milton Eugene Lausch

Milton Eugene Lausch, 91, born on February 27, 1922, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to parents Marie and Walter Lausch. Spending his childhood in Iowa until he enlisted in the Army-Air Force, he became an aircraft repair mechanic while stationed in Hawaii during WWII. After the war he returned stateside where he settled in Glendale, CA. It was there that he met Jeanne Wolze which he married, had a son named Donald, and celebrated over 65 years together. His hobbies were working on muscle cars, motorcycles, camping, and photography. He also enjoyed the companionship with dogs for which he owned several to give him happiness over his lifetime. The couple also enjoyed dancing for which they joined the Suburbanite Dance Club for 30 years and threw outrageous dance parties going well into the morning. He passed away January 28, 2014 but will be remembered by his family, friends, dogs, and caregivers. His funeral will be held at Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills on Feb. 8 at 2:30 pm at the Old North Church.
