Mildred Flowers Hayder

February 15, 1928 — January 31, 2014

Mildred Flowers Hayder was born to parents Katie Kier and Roland Jasper Deaver, in Noble, Oklahoma, on February 15, 1928. She went to Heaven on January 31, 2014, after a long illness. Mildred was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, Robert Flowers and Norman Hayder; her daughter, Beverly Flowers; her sisters Letha Mae Deaver, Dorothy Musgrave, Clara Lee Miller; brother, Bill Deaver, and five nieces and nephews. She is survived by her brother, Joe Deaver (Hannah) of Purcell, Oklahoma, four step-children, five nieces and nephews, and numerous friends. Mildred attended Capital Hill High School in Oklahoma, before moving more than 65 years ago to the Inland Empire.
Mildred loved people. She was employed as a saleswoman in a dress shop and also served as a caregiver. She was a member of the Forester's and was also involved in the Elks Ladies' auxiliary; everyone looked forward to the delicious pies she baked for their many events. Mildred loved her friends and spent time with them shopping, camping, attending concerts, and watching the Dodgers, and when she couldn't go to a live game, loved watching baseball on television. She also played bunco and enjoyed trips to Las Vegas and Laughlin.
