Milagros Santos del Rosario
November 4, 1947 — December 22, 2025
Milagros (Mila) del Rosario, 78, of Carson, CA passed away on December 22, 2025 leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and devotion to family.
Born to Teresa Guevarra and Danilo Santos on November 04, 1947, in Manila, Philippines, her life began surrounded by rich culture, close community, faith and deep family values that she carried with her throughout her life.
She was joyously welcomed into the Del Rosario family when she married her beloved husband Eduardo on July 10, 1965.
In 1987, Milagros and family came to the United States armed with courage, hope and pride in their heritage.
Her life’s work and greatest success was raising her four children. She was a loving and devoted mother to surviving children: Mildred, Eduardo Jr. (Elliott), Eric and Mark (Hannah).
Her husband, Eduardo preceded her in death in April 2015, and she now rejoices in being reunited with him as well as parents and siblings Corazon, Ricardo, Carmen, Consuelo, Remedios, Benjamin, Aida, Alfredo, Antonio, Emilia & Adoracion.
Milagros is also survived by her dear sisters, Conchita Miranda & Elvira and countless nieces and nephews, family and friends with whom she shared a close and meaningful bond
She found immense joy in tending to her edible garden with the late Delano, Zumba classes, unending conversations with her friends, immaculate home, and deep love to the family dog, Jung, who was a constant companion and source of comfort during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Mila will be remembered for her practice of beauty, staying healthy through laughter and admiration for simplicity and humility.
Arrangements are under the care of Forest Lawn, Long Beach, CA.
