Miguel Elizalde, a beloved son, father, brother, nephew, and friend, passed away on December 1, 2024, at the age of 41. Born on July 6, 1983, in Los Angeles, CA, Miguel lived a life filled with creativity, passion, and warmth.
In his 15 years as a tattoo artist, Miguel painted the stories of many lives in ink, bringing both artistry and joy to those he worked with. Transitioning into a career as a mechanic for the last five years, he used his hands and mind to solve problems, embodying a true craftsman dedicated to his trade. Throughout his life, he continuously pursued knowledge, showing dedication to his education. He was on track to complete an Associates of Arts degree from El Camino College while receiving several certificates in Automotive Mechanics, a further testament to his commitment to personal growth.
One of Miguel's proudest accomplishments was the birth of his daughter, Mia. She was his one true love and the light of his life. Miguel cherished every moment spent with her and often expressed how she filled his heart with love and purpose.
Miguel found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He held a special fondness for collecting Pokémon cards, baseball cards, and coins. His playful spirit resonated with everyone who knew him, and his sense of humor lightened the hearts of those around him. Miguel was a genuinely nice person whose desire to help others was evident, always ready to lend a hand when needed. His family remembers him fondly, especially during Thanksgiving, his favorite holiday, which he treasured for the food and family gatherings. These moments became the heart of his memories, a celebration of love, laughter, and connection.
Miguel leaves behind a loving family who will miss him dearly: his devoted mother, Susana, and father, Salvador, along with his cherished daughter, Mia. He is also survived by his siblings — Maria, Sal, and Marvin. They will all carry his memory in their hearts.
Though he is now reunited with his beloved departed ones, including his grandparents Sana, Miguel, Mago, and Eladio, along with his aunts Eva and Tere, uncle Huero, and cousins Jorge and Raulito, the impact of Miguel Elizalde's life continues to resonate with those he touched.
His visitation will take place on December 14, 2024, from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM at Forest Lawn - Cypress, 4471 Lincoln Avenue, Cypress, CA 90630. The warmth and love Miguel brought into this world will remain cherished dearly by all who knew him.
