Mickey P. Bowers

September 25, 1963 — October 29, 2014

Mirion Perry Bowers II (Mickey) was the first born son of Mirion Perry Bowers, M.D. and Geraldine Nixon Bowers. Mickey was born on September 25, 1963 in Fort Knox, KY. Mickey graduated from Daniel Murphy High School in Los Angeles, CA and received his Bachelor of Science degree in business from Pepperdine University in Malibu, CA.

Mickey's professional accomplishments were numerous and varied. Mickey first displayed his talent for business by establishing a newspaper route and trading business in his high school years. Immediately upon graduation from college, Mickey apprenticed at a national retail department chain to learn the skills to own and manage an international retail sales and distribution business. One year later, Mickey established his first venture, Interlink Trading Services, supplying products to large healthcare and retail institutions across the nation. After launching several entrepreneurial businesses throughout his career, Mickey ultimately established a successful line of hair care products distributed worldwide.

Mickey was a social, fun loving man and adventurous soul. Anyone who encountered Mickey was ultimately drawn to his kind spirit and jovial personality. Mickey enjoyed witty dinner conversation and adventurous travel to exotic locations. Mickey was also a loving godparent to Caleb Henshaw and his nephew, Quinn Nicholas Bowers.

Mickey was proud to support his employees and customers and share quality time with his mother, father and siblings. Rarely did a weekend pass without Mickey visiting with his parents and other family members for a few hours in their patio sunroom.

Mickey died peacefully in his sleep on October 28, 2014 of natural causes. Mickey is survived by his family members:
