Michele L Aubry a long-time resident of Baldwin Park CA, died suddenly Thursday November the 15th in Da Nang Vietnam while on vacation with her family.
Born June 27, 1936 in Saint Max, France. Michele grew up in Neuves Maison France 1936 to 1954. There she graduated from College Jacques Callot. Afterward, leaving France for Halifax, Nova Scotia on board the ship Olympia. Settled in Montreal, Canada 1954-1959. The family decided to move to the USA and found themselves on a road-trip to Los Angeles, CA arriving
November 5, 1959. After working different jobs, Michele was employed by Bank of America, Hollywood CA from 1966 until retirement in 1991. In 1993 she decided to continue to work and was employed by Manufacturer Bank until 2005 when she decided to retire again and take care of her Mother full time.
After her Mother's passing, she truly enjoyed traveling to many places such as to Mexico, Hawaii, Europe, Alaska, up until this most recent cruise through Asia, sightseeing in Japan, China and completing her trip in Vietnam.
Besides traveling she loved good food, enjoyed watching and going to the movies, loved to read books, and socializing mostly with her family but now and then with close friends. She was a very private woman. She had a big heart and a beautiful smile that would light up a room. She was a proud, strong-willed and determined and prideful woman with a lighter side to her, that when she
laughed, at times couldn't stop laughing that it became contagious laughter.
She's preceeded in death by her parents Albert J. Aubry and Solange S. Aubry and her infant Brother Daniel Aubry. She is survived by her Sisters, Simone Aubry Raulfs and husband Horst, Suzanne Aubry Beenck and husband Edgar. Her Brother Pierre Auby and wife Kim. Her Niece, Annie Stevens and husband Jeff. Her Nephews, Marc Raulfs and wife Elisabeth, Albert Jacobs and wife Karen, Swen Raulfs and wife Jennifer. Her Great Nieces and Nephews: Sean, Danielle, Eric and Kendall Stevens;Kelcey Ikerd (Raulfs); Corey, Casey and Colbey Jacobs;
Pamela, Kristian and Emily Raulfs all of whom live in Southern California, and brought great joy to her life. As she would say: "Never a dull moment, that's for sure!"
