Michaela Mary Margaret Doyle Reid

Michaela Mary Margaret Doyle Reid, affectionately known as Mikey to her friends, passed away on July 27th 2019, with her son and daughter by her side. She is also survived by her sister, Patricia Doyle Mullen and family. Mikey was born in Atlanta, GA and resided in Oak Park, CA at the time of her passing.

Born on Valentine's Day, 1944, Mikey grew up in Los Angeles and attended Hollywood High School where she graduated in 1961. Following High School, she went on to the University of Southern California where, she earned her Dental Hygiene degree and was a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority, graduating in 1964.

She leaves behind her sister, Patti and two children, Maggy and Adam, to whom she taught the value of community service and of living a life of selflessness and gratitude. She was never afraid to share what she believed about God, continually reminding us that God is "a friend who sticks closer than a brother" (Proverbs 18:24).

A memorial service for Mikey will take place Saturday, August 31st at 2 PM at Bel Air Presbyterian Church, located at 16221 Mulholland Drive, Los Angeles, CA 90049.
