Michael Loren Miller

Michael Loren Miller, 62, born on May 28, 1958, in Los Angeles, CA, United States, passed away August 29, 2020. He resided in Los Angeles, CA at the time of his passing.
Michael began his legal career as a Los Angeles County Public Defender and then joined the Los Angeles County Alternate Public Defender's Office. He was a skilled trial lawyer that handled numerous felony and capital defense cases.
Michael was elected by the Los Angeles Superior Court as a Court Commissioner, following in the footsteps of his father The Honorable Loren Miller and grandfather before him. As a commissioner, Michael was known to be fair, intelligent and larger than life.
Michael is survived by his wife Sharon Lewis Miller, his children Maceo Lewis, Raina Lewis and Shaun Lewis; his mother Anne-Marie Dytewski; his sisters Robin Miller Sloan and Nina Miller; his brother Steven Dytewski, five grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Hollywood Hills, California.
