Michael Medardo Fraga

Michael Medardo Fraga devoted husband to Isabel Fraga for 63 years and caring father to his three children Franklin, Lincoln, and Elizabeth, two grandchildren Krystle and Jeff, and one great grandson Sebastian, passed away at the age of 90 surrounded by those who loved him.

Michael was born in Havana, Cuba, the second youngest of 11 children. He was the first in his family to attend the University of Havana where he studied medicine. Following school, he was a teacher of chemistry, physics, and mathematics in Havana. He married his wife Isabel in 1957.

After immigrating from Cuba to the United States with his wife and children and settling in California, Michael went on to attend California State University, Los Angeles, earning a degree with Phi Kappa Phi honors in medical technology. Michael and his wife started Honeybee Fashions, a clothing manufacturing company, in 1978 that was later sold in 2004. Michael also had a Real Estate License that helped him invest in properties.

Michael had a strong passion for animals, especially cats. He enjoyed raising animals, swimming, riding motorcycles, playing dominos, drinking Cuban coffee, and eating his wife's amazing Cuban cooking. He delighted in writing poetry from his heart (soon to be published).

He was very much loved and will be missed.
