Michael Lynn Fletcher

Michael Lynn Fletcher, 65, born November 18, 1954, in Ephrata, PA, passed away August 13, 2020 in his home in La Quinta, CA. Michael fought a valiant battle with cancer over the past two years. He is survived by wife of 40 years Rebecca; daughter Amy (wife of Luis Wright and granddaughters Hadley and Jovie Wright); daughter Alison Fletcher, all residing in California. He is also survived by his mother Dorothy Warfel; sister Ashley (wife of Phillip Yohn); Uncle Carl Hilton; nephews David and Daniel Yohn, all residing in Pennsylvania.

Michael graduated from Ephrata High School in 1972 and worked for Ephrata Diamond Spring Water Company for over 25 years. Michael was ordained as a minister in the Church of the Brethren after completing the TRIM (Training in Ministry) and served churches in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Michigan and California. He was passionate about time with his family, sports, especially Penn State football. While in Michigan, Michael had the opportunity to serve as an Usher and Tour Guide for the Detroit Tigers which he enjoyed tremendously. In his last months Michael also volunteered as a Hospice visitor in La Quinta, California. He read a wide variety of books, enjoy many genres of music and liked having political discussions with family and friends.
