Michael Arce, 73, born on May 19, 1951, in , AZ, United States, passed away November 13, 2024. He resided in West Covina, CA at the time of his passing.

A graduate of Banning High School in Wilmington, California,  Mike excelled academically and stood out for his intelligence and fun, yet sometimes mischievous spirit. At just 18 years old, he enlisted at a recruitment center to serve his country in the United States Marine Corps as part of the Long Beach Platoon. During his training at Camp Pendleton, he distinguished himself, earning accolades as a top rifleman and being promoted to Private First Class. His skills and achievements were celebrated in local newspapers, a testament to his dedication and talent. Deployed to Vietnam, he served as a head radioman, taking on critical missions with unwavering courage. He returned home as a decorated Purple Heart recipient, carrying with him stories of bravery and resilience. 

Mike built a career in telecommunications, working for companies such as GTE, Rolm, and various cable providers. Beyond his professional work, he was a master craftsman and handyman, always creating, painting, fixing, or digging—his hands rarely idle. 

 Mike is survived by his mother Lucy, brother Lionel, daughters Melisa and Karisa, sons-in-law Ken and Jerry, and his cherished nephew Gilbert. His grandchildren Kristina, Starr, Jessica, Ryan, Ethan, Megan, Justin, and Jackson, along with Annelissa and Aaron, carry forward his legacy of love and laughter.
