Plaistow,NH: Medina (DiPietro) Arsenault, 98, a resident of Plaistow since 1988, died peacefully at her home on Saturday morning, November 8, 2014.

Born, raised and educated in Haverhill, daughter of the late Geremia and Geneoveffa (DiGiacomo) DiPietro, she graduated from Haverhill High School with the Class of 1933, where she lettered in Basketball and Volleyball, and later attended the University of New Hampshire.

A former resident of Bradford and an accomplished seamstress and dress maker, Mrs. Arsenault owned and operated a successful business with her sister Dena Carbone, for many years.

She was a member of Saint Luke the Evangelist Parish and the former Holy Angels Parish of Plaistow, and was active with the Ladies Guild of the Parish. She was also a member of the Haverhill Women's City Club and The Haverhill Business and Professional Women's Club.

An avid Red Sox fan, Mrs. Arsenault was a professional referee for High School and local women's basketball and volleyball.

The wife of the late Harold Arsenault, and sister of the late Victoria Rossetti, she is survived by a sister Dena V. Carbone, of Plaistow, nephews, Gerald Carbone and his wife Joanne of East Kingston, Raymond Carbone and his wife Rose of Steuben,ME, and David DiPietro of Haverhill, and several great nieces and nephews and great-grand nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Mrs. Arsenault's Life Celebration to be held on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 from 2 to 5 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, a Life Celebration Home. Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at 12 o'clock p.m. from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial at 1 p.m. in Holy Angels Church of Saint Luke the Evangelist Parish, Plaistow.
