May Lum Loo

May Lum Loo, 81, born on September 23, 1935, in San Francisco, California, passed away March 2, 2017. She resided in Cerritos, California at the time of her passing. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Glendale, California.
May passed away peacefully after a courageous yearlong battle with pancreatic cancer. She will be missed by her family, relatives and many friends. She was born in San Francisco, Ca, raised in Toisan China and returned at age 18.
She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Hoover, children Harry Wong (Tina), Robert Loo, and Gary Loo (Dorie), and grandchildren Richie, Ryan, and Hallie Loo.
May truly treasured life, embraced her family, and made friends with everyone. May and Hoover operated the local favorite restaurant House of Wong on Pioneer Boulevard in Norwalk for over 33 years. She treated her customers as close family and friends.
Services will be held Friday March 10, 2017 at 12:00 PM at the Church of the Recessional, Forest Lawn in Glendale, CA.
