Maxine Beverly Flitcraft

On September 6, 2013, Maxine, age 67, went peacefully back home to be with her Lord and Savior. She was born on February 10, 1946 to Henry, Jr. and Rena (West) Robinson in Vineland, N.J. She graduated from Vineland High School in 1964. Maxine worked at CBS Records in Pitman, N.J. where she met her future husband Charles. They were married on August 6, 1977 in Franklinville, N.J. In 1982, they moved to Thousand Palms, Ca. where they made their home for the next 31 years. Maxine worked at LaidLaw Transportation driving a school bus until an injury in 1988. Maxine's love of children did not stop there as she soon became a foster parent to seven children. Her love of life was boundless.She loved the Lord, fast cars, cooking, and time with her children, husband, family, and friends. She had an infectious smile, laugh, and outlook on life. She loved collecting teapots, cookbooks, and anything else that caught her eye. She is survived and will be greatly missed by her husband, Charles Flitcraft of Thousand Palms, Ca., daughter Trisha Boles of Oklahoma, sisters Deatra (Dee Dee) Robinson and friend Woodrow Burch, Jaclyn (Jackie) Phillips, both of Vineland, N.J., Lois Habersham of California, brother Henry (Junny) Robinson 3rd. of Vineland, N.J., Aunt Bertha Holloway and Uncle Kenneth Saunderson of N.J. and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Service will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the family would be greatly appreciated. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Cathedral City, CA.
