Maxine Helen Dison

Maxine H Lowe Dison, who lived most of her life in the LA area, passed away early Thanksgiving morning, November 23, 2017.
Born in Wells, OK, she was the first New Years's baby born that year, on January 1, 1924.
Maxine worked as a secretary at the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power for over 30 years. She could type so fast that as soon as you finished dictating a letter she would pull it out of her typewriter and hand it to you.
Maxine married Russell Victor Dison in 1969. This was her only marriage. She had an instant family of two daughters, Connie and Paulette and one son, Steve Dison. She loved Russell's children along with all his brothers children, as Russell had no sisters.
She was active in the American Legion and with the Masons. She is survived by her Sister Beatrice Kohl of West Virginia and her step-son Steven Dison of Los Osos, California.
Funeral will be held at Forrest Lawn of Glendale.
Viewing will be available on November 30, 2017 from 10 am til 1 pm, followed by Graveside Services at 3 pm same day.
