Maxine Boen

Maxine Boen, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother peacefully departed this life on October 4, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving behind a legacy of love that will echo in the hearts of those who knew her.

Maxine was a beacon of kindness and warmth. She welcomed everyone with open arms and brought laughter to the lives of many with her great sense of humor. To say she was remarkable would be an understatement. She had a unique ability to make every person feel special, always treating them as friends and creating an atmosphere of acceptance wherever she went.

Maxine’s love for her family was profound and unwavering. She devoted herself to her loved ones with everything she had in her. As a mother, she provided unwavering support, guidance, and boundless affection. As Grandma Max and Great Gram, she created magical moments filled with joy and cherished memories that will live on through generations.

Her faith was equally important to her, and she loved Jesus dearly. Her deep spiritual convictions led her to be the family's guiding light. Countless memories are entwined with the power of her prayers, which offered comfort and solace to all who sought it. In times of joy and sorrow, her love for God and her family was a steadfast source of strength.

Maxine's life will be celebrated by her family with a Memorial Service on October 25, 2024, officiated by her son-in-law, Pastor Stephen Sutherland at Forest Lawn Cathedral city. Please keep her family in your thoughts and prayers as we celebrate her life. A women whose spirit touched so many and whose love will continue to inspire us all.

Though Maxine has left this world, her spirit and legacy remain firmly woven into the fabric of each life she touched. She will be deeply missed but will live on in the hearts and stories of her family, reminding them always of the strength that love and faith provide.
