Mauro Lupian, 61, of Indio, CA, passed away November 15, 2011 in Rancho Mirage, CA. He was born November 7, 1950, to Mauro Lupian and Abelina Garcia in El Litigio, Michoacan, Mexico. He married Maria Salcedo on December 15, 1971 in Jiquilpan, Michoacan, Mexico. He worked as a laborer in agriculture for many years and was very proud and one of the best. His passion was his family and garden. He was a faithful man and was always devoted to his family. He was the funniest man in the world, who lived life to the fullest. He will be deeply missed by all. In the past year he had the opportunity of meeting the family of the young boy who donated a kidney to him. He felt truly blessed. He is survived by his wife, Maria Lupian of Indio, CA; daughters, Marlene (Antonio) Navarro, Elizabeth (Ernest) Chapa, Gicela (Luis) Ramirez; sons, Mauro H. Lupian, Juan A. Lupian; sisters, Martha Guerra, Hilda Hernandez, Aracely Lupian, Maria De Los Angeles Lupian, Sandra Guerra; brother, Cesar A. Lupian; mother, Abelina Lupian and 9 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Mauro Lupian Sr. and brothers, Francisco and Rogelio Lupian. A visitation will be held on November 20, 2011 from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. with a rosary at 6:00 p.m. at the Forest Lawn Coachella Chapel. A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on November 21, 2011 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Indio with interment to follow at Coachella Valley Cemetery. Forest Lawn Memorial-Parks & Mortuaries.
