Matthew Gary Espiritu

Matthew Gary Espiritu was born on September 4, 1998 in Anaheim CA to Edgardo La Madrid Espiritu (deceased) and Lucia Mortero Espiritu, and passed away on October 17, 2023 in Las Vegas NV at the age of 25. He resided in Las Vegas for most of his life, but lived in Anaheim CA and Hillsborough NJ during his early years.

He graduated from Forbuss Elementary School, Cashman Middle School, and Ed Clark High School - all in Las Vegas. He was a band member playing tenor  saxophone during high  school.

Matthew graduated Magna cum Laude from the College of Engineering, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Prescott AZ with Bachelor of Science degree major in Aerospace Engineering with concentration in Astronautics. He was preparing to start his first job at Raytheon Intelligence and Space in Las Cruces, NM at the time of his passing.

He is survived by his mother Lucia and a large extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, great grandparents and other relatives in Las Vegas, Southern California and the Philippines.
