Marysa Roque

Marysa Lauren Roque, Passed away peacefully August 11, 2025 at her home in Burbank, California. She was surrounded by her family including her mother and all her siblings at the time of her death. Marysa was born on June 01, 1950 in San Fernando, CA. Her parents Frank and Mary Roque lived in Burbank CA with their children, the oldest Marysa and younger brother and sister twins Frankie and Francine. Four years later the family moved to Sun Valley CA where three more children were added to the household Dennis Donald and Gregory.

Marysa attended Glenwood Elementary, Sun Valley Junior High School and graduated from Verdugo Hills Senior High in 1968. She pursued a career as a hair stylist, after attending beautician school. She was employed at Ryles City of Styles, Entourage and Park Avenue Salon where she was presently employed all located in Glendale CA. Marysa was a fabulous and accomplished cook. She enjoyed traveling. She enjoyed traveling through California and was fortunate enough to cruise to Alaska, the highlight of her travels. While living in Burbank, Marysa volunteered her services at Luther Burbank Middle School participating in the "Beauty In Motion", "Treasures for All Seasons" and especially the "Time to Read" tutoring program. She attended church at Burbank Four Square Church where she was a member of the choir, later attending Osbourne Neighborhood Church. And finally making Emmanuel Church here in Burbank, her home church. Marysa was a long time member of the choir and volunteered with the "Lords Kitchen" aiding needy adults and seniors with meals, music and prayers.

Marysa's deep faith in God and her love & hope found the words of the Bible are what sustained her through the ups and downs of life. She battled bravely against her disease for nine months.

Marysa is survived by her mother Mary, sister Francine and brothers Frank Dennis and Gregory. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews and in laws. Marysa touched many lives in a lasting way. She was loved by family and friends. She will be missed deeply by all who knew her.
