Mary Dunbar Shewey

Mary Dunbar Shewey, 72, born on June 21, 1943, passed away June 28, 2015. She resided in Glendale, California at the time of her passing. Mary Shewey died with her beloved daughter at her side in the early hours of June 28, 2015. Mary is survived by her daughter Marci DeGelia, son in law Mike DeGelia, Son Michael Shewey, daughter in law Dorsey Shewey, grand kids Kevin, Brandon, EJ, Jordan, and Trevor. Mary worked as an RN for over 50 years. She retired in 2009 from Cedar Sinai Medical Center as she was the best IV nurse they ever had. She enjoyed life and watching her grand kids grow up. Mary devoted her life in helping everyone around her. Mary will be truly missed. Services will be held at Forest Lawn Glendale. Viewing will be Monday July 6, 2015 from 10:00am to 9:00pm. Services will be Tuesday July 7, 2015 at 10:00am in the Church if the Recessional. In lieu of flowers, Mary has requested that donations be made to her grand kids college funds.
