Hampstead, NH: Our beloved Mary L. Porter, 77, of Hampstead, NH died peacefully at home on March 20, 2014.

Daughter of the late Leo and Selma Fahey, Mary was born May 29, 1936, in Boston, Ma. She graduated from Milton High School in 1953 and received a B.S. in Education from Framingham State Teacher's College in 1957.

Mary was kind and compassionate, and just had a way of making everyone around her feel special. She loved her sons and daughters and their spouses as well as her nieces and nephews and was so proud of all of them. Mary was a huge Red Sox fan. She loved spending time with her family and many close friends. She is very much loved by her family and will be greatly missed.

Mary is survived by Bob, her loving husband of 55 years. Mary was a devoted mother to sons Robert (Janet) of Colchester Ct; Kevin (Amy) of Hoboken NJ; James of Hampstead; and daughters Kathleen (James McGlynn) of Quincy, Ma and Marianne (Rob Keyes) of Somersworth. Cherished Nana to Lindsey, Molly, Annie, Joseph, and Ian. Loving sister to Father James L. Fahey of Georgetown, Ma.

Mary was a grade school teacher and substitute taught in later years. She was a member of St. Anne's Parish in Hampstead, NH and the Framingham Independent Alumni Association.
