Haverhill: Mary E. (Srybny) Maslowski, 98, a native and lifelong resident of Haverhill, died Saturday, March 10, 2012 at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House, following a brief illness.
Daughter of the late Walter and Sophie (Guscora) Srybny, she attended the Hannah Duston School and Haverhill High School and was employed as a fancy stitcher in the local shoe industry.
Mrs. Maslowski worked alongside her late husband in the operation of their farm located on the property where he built the home they shared and raised their family. They raised turkeys and kept bees and sold eggs, honey and the produce from their garden.
She enjoyed knitting, sewing and tatting, gardening, cooking for her family, camping and traveling with her husband and family and bowling as a member of the Saint Joseph Bowling League.
She was a member of Saint Luke the Evangelist Parish of Plaistow and a member of the former Saint Michael's Parish of Haverhill and the Holy Rosary Society.

A. and William Bartlett of East Kingston, NH, grandchildren, Paula McNeal, C.J. Maslowski,III, Christine Maslowski, Adam J. Maslowski, Ethan Smith, Kourtney Bartlett, and Emily Radin, a sister, Phyllis Poitras, of Hampstead, NH, a brother Edward Srybny of Haverhill, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter Dorothy Smith in 2005 and her grandson Adam C. Smith in 2009.
Relatives and friends may call on Tuesday, March 13, 2012 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Route 121A, Plaistow, NH. Her funeral will be held on Wednesday at 9 a.m. from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Holy Angels Church, Plaistow. Burial will follow in Saint Patrick's Cemetery Haverhill.
